To be considered, you must have at least a High School Diploma along with at least three years of relevant warehouse experience.Material Handler Job Responsibilities:
Receives materials and supplies by verifying PO information on ERP - PO number, QTY, etc. (Should be familiar with ERP - SAP a plus)
Documents materials receipts and put away to the appropriate storage location.
Locate material(s) by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Deliver production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final
distribution.
Locate and pack materials for shipping.
Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
Operates forklifts (certified a plus), pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals
machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
Maintain warehouse operation area clean and orderly.
Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
Material Handler Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma
3 years of related warehouse experience (shipping and receiving, kitting, packing)
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and highly regulated with adaptability to changing priorities.
Strong team player
Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted
Ability to operate a forklift
