Job Description Performs 12 Lead EKG Nice to have EKG experience, must have back office experience. Cardiology experience preferred Schedules, processes, prepares, and dispenses cardiac device (zio/holter) monitor and tracks patient remotely for results Perform compression stockings measurements Prep and assist with in-clinic Cardiovascular Medicine, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Vascular Surgery procedures Monitor and report patient's lab results, blood pressure logs and weight logs for cardiac medication management Schedules peer to peer insurance authorizations for cardiovascular clinic visits and cardiac and vascular diagnostics procedures/testing Coordination of care for complex cardiac echocardiogram and vascular lab scheduling/surgery scheduling Assist patient in coordination of procedure (i.e TAVR, catherization, interventional cardiology procedures, ablations, cardioversions, pacemaker, vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, transplant, etc.) Understands proper use and applications for the following imaging modalities: radiology (CTA/PET, MRI), Echo, catheterization, carotid ultrasound, vein and arterial mapping Coordinates/triage cardiovascular hospital discharge appointments before discharge from inpatient Monitor and report patient's lab results, blood pressure logs and weight logs for cardiac medication management Monitor, initiate and submits electronic prior authorization for cardiac medicationsSkills and RequirementsMINMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent AND Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from an approved school/institution or equivalent documented training/experienceLicenses and Certifications BLSExperience around three years of overall experience nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
