Description Boutique law firm has an immediate opening for a Receptionist! This Receptionist will join a small team of legal staff, supporting a three attorney firm. This role is critical in ensuring efficient office operations and providing a welcoming environment for visitors. A successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including answering phones, organizing files, and managing calendars. This Receptionist must be able to work on-site in San Jose, CA full-time. The ideal candidate will have 1-5+ years of receptionist or administrative experience; prior legal experience is a huge plus but not required. Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for the office, answering and directing calls, and greeting visitors professionally and courteously. Manage and organize office files and documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and kept in order. Handle email correspondence, ensuring that all emails are responded to in a timely and professional manner. Oversee calendar management, scheduling appointments, and updating the calendar as necessary. Support client relations by following up with clients and resolving their inquiries. Utilize various systems and platforms for tasks, demonstrating adaptability to different tech tools. Assist in supply management to ensure the office is well-stocked and functioning smoothly. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Utilize skills in estate planning and probate if applicable but not mandatory.
