Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler II – RMA to join their team in San Jose. In this role, you will be a key member of the Receiving Department, responsible for handling returned merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and supporting the Material Handling team.Job Title: Material Handler II – RMALocation: San Jose, CAPay Range: $23-$25What You'll Do:
Manage RMA Process: Handle incoming return shipments, ensuring compliance with RMA procedures. Unpack, inspect, and process returned items. Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues related to damages or shortages.
Receiving Operations: Unload shipments from trucks, verify against purchase orders and packing lists, and report any discrepancies.
Inventory Control: Perform inventory transactions, including part number identification, unplanned receipts and issues, product transfers, and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming materials for quality and condition, rejecting damaged items and recording shortages as necessary.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team to ensure efficient completion of customer requirements. Provide training and guidance to support continuous improvement efforts.
What You Need:
RMA Experience: Proven experience handling return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and coordinating with suppliers or shippers for resolution.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve practical problems, adapting to situations where standardization is limited.
Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment, assisting in training and supporting colleagues.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and transactional processes.
Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in basic computer operations.
