As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) Requirements - Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Strong communication and social skills
Deep understanding of financial reporting
Financial reporting experience
Solid understanding of account reconciliation
Journal entries experience
Expertise in account reconciliation
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
Skilled with ERP systems
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
Able to manage time well
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills
