Position Summary: Act as the communication hub for client needs, order fulfillment, and product inventory. Identifies and resolves multi-step requests in the client's database while providing additional support to the Design and Project Management team. Oversees specialty orders and products within the client’s database. Responsibilities:
Intake all customer requests via client’s database; assign to teams for execution if applicable
Update client’s database to record schedule changes while maintaining turnaround time to meet key performance indicators
Responsible for professional customer communications within the database, e-mails, phone calls and/or chat in a timely manner.
Gather, document, and track details on floor plan updates to reflect furniture deliveries
Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Identify and expedite high level or escalated requests with professionalism and sense of urgency.
Ensure each request is completed to customer’s satisfaction
Overcoming obstacles by providing resources and solutions amidst ambiguity.
Complete multi-step requests within the client’s database that require the involvement of various business units and coordinating schedules
Coordinating the delivery and removal of product to not interfere with the client’s operating business
Complete client requests involving specialty items outside of the normal scope of work
Schedule truck deliveries and warehouse pickups
Assist Furniture Project Manager Zone Leads and Designers with planning and scheduling small scope projects
Plan and provide furniture options for small events upon client requests
Respond to inventory inquiries from multiple outside vendors
Request security escorts to support the installation team gain access to restricted spaces
Assist with inventory cycle counts and place inventory orders
Oversee small furniture projects while coordinating with the design and project management teams
Conduct site walks to survey furniture and complete space audits
Generate, process, and track quotes of new product while communicating with various business units
Manage requests from the facilities department on specialty stock items by auditing, removing, and cleaning as needed
Withhold a high level of customer service while completing requests outside of normal business specifications
Qualifications: Education/Experience Associates Degree or higher from an accredited college or university preferred. Prior experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Three to five years of customer service experience preferably within an office or account management setting. Prior experience working within a ticketing or customer service queue is a plus. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Fully comprehends furniture system parts and assembly
Fully comprehends furniture floor plans
Has extensive experience with interpreting, processing, and tracking client requests
Skilled at clear and concise communication, both verbally and written
Collaborate in diverse teams to foster productive outcomes
Must be extremely organized with good time management skills
Strong attention to detail required
Ability to analyze and problem solve and make decisions with minimal guidance
Proficient in office productivity applications (Google suite product, preferred)
Must be flexible and have a strong sense of urgency
Ability to provide excellent customer service and foster both internal and external relationship
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be able to work under pressure in deadline driven situations
