DescriptionAWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.The WW Events Scale Manager is a new position within the global AWS Partner Organization (APO). Within APO is an equally new org called Events & Enablement (E&E) whose primary remit is to provide a governance and strategy approach for APO-wide partner enablement events. This role dotted lines to the WW Events Lead and reports directly to the Global Enablement Share Services (ESS) org leader and will have influence in shaping the partner experience at AWS events.Key job responsibilitiesAssist in production and maintenance of a centralized event calendar, budget, net new event requests form, an event playbook for new & existing events, and standardized approach for events not currently supported by the AWS Events and Partner Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have an events background with strong PM experience within an enterprise or technology company. Additional understanding of how partners interface with cloud providers like AWS will increase success within this position. A focus on measuring event success and tracking and reporting on event planning progress will also be key responsibilities.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Atlanta, GA, USA | Austin, TX, USA | Boston, MA, USA | Miami, FL, USA | New York City, NY, USA | San Jose, CA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA | Washington, DC, USABasic Qualifications

3+ years of program or project management experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

3+ years of event experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services

3+ years of marketing experience.

The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
