Description We are partnering with the country’s largest provider of concrete solutions to source a Contracts Manager on a fully remote, temporary basis. This role focuses exclusively on reading, reviewing, and redlining Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to ensure compliance with company standards and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of contracts management experience in industries such as construction, oil, gas, or similar fields, with demonstrated expertise in analyzing and redlining MSAs. Strong attention to detail, familiarity with indemnity clauses, payment terms, and risk allocation, and experience working within subcontractor agreements are essential. This position is 100% remote, but candidates must reside on the West Coast (Pacific or Mountain time zones preferred; Central time zone may be considered).Key Responsibilities
Read, review, and redline Master Service Agreements (MSAs), ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Identify and mitigate risks in MSA terms, including clauses related to indemnity, payment terms, and consequential damages.
Provide redlined recommendations to ensure adherence to organizational standards and protect company interests.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and operations teams, to address MSA-related queries or revisions.
Maintain detailed documentation and version control of all reviewed MSAs for tracking and historical purposes.
Support the development and improvement of templates and standardized processes for future MSA reviews.
Communicate findings clearly and concisely with team members and leadership.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of contracts management experience, with a focus on construction, oil, gas, or similar industries.
Demonstrated expertise in reviewing and redlining Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
Strong understanding of key contract terms, including indemnity, payment terms, and risk allocation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple MSAs simultaneously.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to internal teams.
Experience working with subcontractor agreements and familiarity with prime contractor-subcontractor relationships.
Knowledge of contract lifecycle management systems or similar tools is a plus.
