Description We are looking for a proficient Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate would be an organized, reliable, and welcoming individual who can assist our healthcare team in daily administrative tasks. The primary role includes welcoming and directing patients, answering phone calls, managing appointments, updating patient records, and complying with healthcare laws and regulations.Responsibilities:· Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone in a polite and efficient manner.· Administer patient registration and scheduling of appointments.· Maintain and update patients' health records in strict compliance with confidentiality regulations.· Handle billing processes and insurance verifications.· Coordinate communication between patients, family members, medical staff, and administrative staff.· Develop an efficient workflow system to manage patient volumes and maintain smooth office operations.· Facilitate patient flow by notifying the provider's team of patients' arrival, delaying, or canceling appointments.· Uphold a professional appearance at all times to enhance patient comfort and confidence.· Keep the reception area clean, organized, and supplied will all the necessary materials.· Assist with other administrative tasks and duties as needed.Requirements · A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in medical administration would be appreciated.· Proven experience as a medical receptionist or a relevant position in a medical setting.· familiarity with office equipment and sanitizing protocols.· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and basic understanding of healthcare software and databases.· Proficient knowledge of medical and insurance legislation.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Ability to multitask and handle patients' data confidentiality.· Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.· Commitment to delivering excellent customer service at all times.· Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis will be considered a plus.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
