Description Robert Half's local non-profit client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-time Entry-Level Accounting Assistant. This role will support our finance department in various accounting and administrative tasks. The hours are 6-7 hours per week spread amongst two days. Preferably Mondays and Thursdays. This is a perfect opportunity for someone seeking part-time roles! Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable inbox/mailbox (digital and physical)
Maintain accurate and organized financial records using accounting software.
Help with data entry, filing, and organizing financial documents.
Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Requirements
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in accounting or finance preferred. Studying Accounting preferred!
Google Suite required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel) and accounting software.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior experience in accounting or finance (internships or entry-level positions) is a plus but not required.
