About the RoleYou are responsible for the cash office & sales floor administration of your store. You provide training & support to the store team to ensure they are knowledgeable and competent in all store stock, cash, banking and admin procedures. Supporting the in-store sales by encouraging efficiency through best practice and being responsible for all technical equipment. Together with the in-store management team, you support on the sales floor to ensure the best customer & colleague experience. A Day in the LifeWorking at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilitiesCustomer Sales & ProfitResponsible for opening & closing procedures of all cash desks, in preparation for each dayExamine all cash differences and follow up with in-store staff, management, and loss preventionResponsible for account reconciliation - daily verification / correction of all monetary accountsHandle & ensure all money handling routines, such as money transport and ordering change moneyComplete EOD (end of day) reportResponsible for all security/related routines in line with H&M guidelines General InformationAdministrationResponsible for the review, carry out and the correction of the hour/ payroll calculations of the employees in the storeVerify reduction and garment transfer routines to correct bookingVerify and complete damagesOrder and ensure office and cash point suppliesEnsure Cash Office space is well organized, tidy and set up to best practices to ensure efficiency & good ways of workingEnsure the store's compliance with all cash office routines for store auditSupport employees concerning technical problems and follow up with IT/Business TechEnsure correct key handling and documentation of it in line with the H&M guidelines & routinesWork with Staff Planner in line with the H&M guidelines and routinesTeam & DevelopmentResponsible for training & follow up with colleagues in-store on check out & cash point procedures & store routines linked to the areas of responsibilitiesCommunicate all relevant changes of cash office, store routines & policies to store teamHandle all internal and security-related information, confidentially and in line with the H&M guidelines and routinesResponsible for onboarding, upskilling & developing your teamRetain and share your knowledge and skills with your teamEnsure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in relation to the Cash Office are followedParticipate in relevant available onboarding & introduction processes, trainings and courses relevant for your role & future developmentRetail OperationsSupporting the store leadership team and store colleagues on the sales floor, to deliver the best OMNI customer experience, when necessary or requiredFollow up and ensure a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house including stockroom areas, check out areas, fitting rooms and garment recycling areasEnsure the full garment cycle - from delivery to garment presentation - and fitting room routines are according to our standards and routines set internally, utilizing all tools and technology providedRepresenting yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.Ensure correct routines in fitting room and checkout, including transaction, returns and exchanges.Ensure all admin routines for both people and operations are handled in a correct wayUpkeep & follow best practice for any in-store OMNI Services & in-store tech services/tools, etc (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store etc)Support with opening and closing of the store
