Description A local Mental Healthcare startup company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consulting Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, a comprehensive understanding of the accounting close cycle and managing claims. As a Consulting Controller, you will play a pivotal role in advising our clients on financial strategies, ensuring compliance, and driving financial performance. This role is remote.Responsibilities

Provide expert financial guidance to clients, offering strategic insights and recommendations to optimize financial processes and performance.

Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, including revenue recognition, subscription models, and forecasting, to support decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and streamline financial operations within client organizations.

Assess and enhance internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Lead financial audits and reviews, providing guidance and support to clients throughout the process.

Develop and present comprehensive financial reports, highlighting key metrics and trends to stakeholders.

Drive the implementation and integration of financial systems and tools, optimizing efficiency and accuracy.

Mentor and train client teams on financial procedures, software utilization, and best practices.

Requirements

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with specific expertise in Healthcare.

Proven track record in a consulting or advisory role, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or NetSuite. Implementation experience a major plus.

System implementation work a plus.

Strong consolidations experience needed.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying financial concepts to diverse audiences.
