Business Systems Analyst II

The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for supporting and maintaining our enterprise applications across North America.The position will focus on testing the core applications that support our Finance and Payroll operations, globally.This position provides the opportunity to work on projects that span the entire business and may vary in size and complexity. Areas of responsibility and focus would include: Salesforce, PeopleSoft HCM ( Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor ) PeopleSoft Financials ( e.g. Billing, Cash/AR, Credit, Collections ), Workday and other enterprise applications.Essential Functions:

Product and Business Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the products and business processes related to the assigned testing areas.

Requirement Clarification: Collaborate with business partners to clarify requirements, test scenarios and ensure technical teams have the necessary information to develop or fix solutions.

Technical Collaboration: Work with technical staff and vendors to ensure technical components (e.g., integrations, APIs, extensions) are understood and properly tested within the overall solution.

Test Case Development: Gather and analyze information from multiple sources to create comprehensive test scenarios and detailed test cases, including test data and expected results.

Test Planning and Execution: Plan, Execute, Oversee and Report on testing activities for assigned projects to stakeholders.

Support Deployment and Migration: Assist in deployment and migration efforts to ensure smooth transitions.

Communication and Expertise: Represent the team as a subject matter expert in communications with our Business Partners, IT, training, reporting, leadership, and vendors.

Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative atmosphere by using influence and expertise to promote teamwork and drive the product forward.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or equivalent

4+ years of experience in quality assurance with experience leading small to medium testing efforts related to large ERP and CRM systems for medium to large companies.

Some experience/familiarity with requirements gathering and preparing documentation for training and knowledge sharing is desired.

Working knowledge of various System Development Life Cycle methodologies ( e.g. agile, iterative, waterfall, etc .)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

An ability to establish and maintain strong stakeholder and internal customer relationships

Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated skills in use of software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Smartsheets, etc.

Knowledge of database concepts and proficiency with MS SQL is desired
