Description We are in search of a Payroll Customer Service professional to join our team in San Ramon, California. Our industry calls for the provision of high-quality and timely support to both internal and external customers. As a Payroll Customer Service professional, your role will focus on handling inquiries related to payroll, timecards, and more while maintaining excellent customer service standards. This role is a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact via phone call or email for issues related to payroll and time entry systems. Utilize extensive knowledge of departmental functions to resolve issues accurately and in a timely manner. Process and document transactions or initiate forms to be resolved by Payroll Operations. Educate branch offices about timelines, procedures, and the cost/benefit of various alternatives. Manage high volume of customer interactions daily, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of response. Maintain detailed understanding of multiple systems and business processes used within the Customer Service and Payroll Operation departments. Educate candidates about the various self-service options via websites and Interactive Voice Response. Handle a variety of service requests relating to payroll, benefits, employment verification, and more. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status. Field candidate calls related to payroll, timecards, I-9, and password resets.
