Description We are in search of a Collections Specialist who will work on site in Santa Ana, California. This role is crucial within the construction industry, offering a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Collections Specialist, you will be handling a high volume of calls, reviewing a variety of invoices, and assisting with accounts receivable, among other responsibilities.Responsibilities: Handle a high volume of calls to ensure timely and effective communication with customers Review and analyze accounts receivable to improve financial operations Examine vendor invoices for accuracy and address any discrepancies that may arise Manage and resolve invoice issues to ensure customer satisfaction Use software tools to maintain accurate customer credit records (training will be provided) Process customer credit applications efficiently to enhance business operations Conduct a thorough review of invoices to ensure they match with the subpay statements Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions to ensure timely payments Engage in commercial and consumer collections to recover unpaid debts Assist in other tasks as directed by the credit manager Requirements Must have proficiency in Commercial Collections Experience in Consumer Collections is required Demonstrated ability in Credit - Collections Must be able to resolve Invoice Issues effectively Ability to handle Invoice Discrepancies is a must Should be capable of reviewing invoices accurately Experience in managing Vendor Invoices is necessary Must have knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) practices and procedures Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
