Description:Pay: $19-21hr (DOE on exp/industry)SMT OperatorJob DescriptionResponsible for the set-up, running, and maintenance of automated pick and place equipment in a high mix, quick-turn environment. Duties include pulling from customer inventory, and verification of kitted material from customer Bill of Materials (BOM), loading of appropriate SMT feeders, and installation of feeders on pick and place machine in accordance with feeder set-up program. Verification and update if needed of placement program, operation of pick and place equipment, and preventative maintenance of equipment as required. Additional duties include manual printing of solder paste on printed circuit boards (PCB).Duties:
Familiar with IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001
Read and understand A.I. and notes
Interpret part values by means of color code or numerical values
Confirm part value by us of a digital multi-meter
Identify, document, and report non-conforming material
Identify proper feeder type (8mm x 2mm, 16mm x 8mm, vibratory, etc.)
Recognize Sn63 and Pb free solder pastes
Set-up, operate, and perform scheduled maintenance on pick and place, screen printer and solder paste inspection (SPI) equipment.
Make changes and updates to pick and place program
