job detailsWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Analyst specializing in Prevailing Wage Compliance to join our team. As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with prevailing wage laws and regulations related to payroll processing. This role requires a meticulous understanding of prevailing wage requirements, strong attention to detail, and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.salary: $27 - $35 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesEnsure Prevailing Wage Compliance:
Manage payroll processing for projects under prevailing wage laws.
Calculate wages, fringe benefits, and overtime accurately.
Stay updated on prevailing wage regulations and communicate changes.
Review contracts for prevailing wage requirements.
Conduct Payroll Processing:
Process payroll accurately, including deductions and benefits.
Review timesheets and pay rates for compliance.
Address and resolve any prevailing wage calculation discrepancies promptly.
Distribute certified payroll reports as required.
Manage Data and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of prevailing wage data.
Enter certified payroll reports in relevant systems.
Generate and analyze compliance reports.
Support audits and investigations related to prevailing wage compliance.
Provide Training and Education:
Train Payroll team and stakeholders on prevailing wage compliance.
Develop process documentation and training materials.
