Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bookkeeper located in Goleta, CA. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, and conducting other tasks related to finance and office administration.
Qualifications
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Studies in accounting or related field preferred
Ability to work well with others, maintain professional interaction with co-workers, clients, and vendors.
Experience in the restoration or construction industry is a plus
Essential Duties:
Perform daily account payable and account receivable tasks.
Maintain vendor information, including W-9 retrieval and completed 1099’s at year-end.
Customer Service: answer telephone calls and emails.
Gather new job information, route calls, take messages and resolve conflicts.
Set up appointments for estimators for job inspections.
Provide general support to internal clients.
Special projects as requested.
Schedule is 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. This is not a remote position.
