Established, locally owned and operated construction company is recruiting for a new, full-time position immediately available within the Finance Department.
Primary Functions:
Responsible for project billing process in accordance with established accounting standards and policy. This includes, but not limited to generating progress billings per contract, monitoring job costs including sub-contractors and self-performed labor. Review/analyze job profitability through life cycle of project. Work closely with Managers of individual projects.
Education and Experience
1. AA Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting / Business Administration or related field
2. Experience in construction industry is a plus
3. Proficient with QuickBooks, excel and word
4. Ability to work well with others, maintain professional interaction with co-workers, clients and vendors.
5. Customer service oriented.
Schedule is 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
