Brashears & Newendorp Insurance Agency, one of the fastest-growing independently owned insurance brokers in California is seeking a motivated individual with a drive for success to join our team as a full-time Personal Lines Customer Service Representative in Santa Barbara. Reporting directly to our Branch Manager, the CSR position is responsible for assisting clients with quoting home & auto policies, billing reminders, renewal notices, data entry, customer service, running reports, scheduling client reviews, and more.
Primary Responsibilities:
Quoting new & renewal home/auto/umbrella packages for clients.
Provide customer service via phone, email, and in-person.
Perform routine clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, making photocopies, and more.
Answer phones, route callers, and take and deliver messages to staff.
Work with insurance carriers and partners, such as mortgage companies, for servicing-related tasks, including
providing evidence of coverage.
Maintain proper records, keep files organized, and run regular or requested reports.
Follow all office procedures as instructed.
Required/Preferred Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Some college preferred.
3 years insurance experience
Property & Casualty Insurance License
English required/bilingual a plus
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, including Excel.
