Position Overview:
South Coast Montessori, located in Santa Barbara, California, is hiring a full-time Montessori trained guide for our Elementary classroom for the 2025-26 school year.

Our beautiful 9 acre, park-like campus, is located in a quiet enclave of Goleta and features meticulously appointed indoor and outdoor classroom environments, where children are encouraged to move freely within the environment, following their own unique interests and curiosity. We are dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of each child and staff member alike. Our faculty are dedicated to Montessori pedagogy. We currently offer classrooms for children aged 3 months to 12 years.
Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Attributes:
● AMI or AMS Diploma (or in progress).
● Knowledge, interest and a passion for the Montessori method as it applies to children 6-12 years old
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including digital communication skills
● Commitment to working on a team of teachers and administrators always striving to model professionalism and collaboration in service of the school’s mission and children
● Experience with fostering and maintaining supportive and professional relationships with enthusiastic and interested parents
Salary:
Pay Range:
$80,000 - $100,000 annually depends on experience and qualifications
Generous relocation package available.
This is an exempt, full-time school year teaching position with summers off.
