We are a local architectural design firm seeking an experienced Project Manager to support residential projects in the Santa Barbara area. This is an independent contractor position offering flexible hours. Proficiency in Revit is required.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the lead designer to perform a variety of tasks, including design development, construction documentation, field measurements, and renderings (a plus). You will assist in delivering projects on time and within budget. We are looking for someone who is reliable, productive, and highly organized.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Lead Designer on design development and construction documentation.
Conduct field measurements and document as-built structures.
Research and specify finishes, equipment, and other project details.
Review and implement architectural redlines efficiently.
Ensure project deliverables are complete before moving to the next phase.
Manage multiple projects while maintaining high attention to detail.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Proficient in Revit (own Revit license preferred but not required).
Strong background in residential design.
Knowledge of local city codes and ordinances.
Experience in Design Development and Construction Documentation.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
5-7 years of project management experience.
Proficiency in Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated, positive, and adept at problem-solving.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
