Description
We need someone who excels at coming up with creative solutions to technical issues. Robert Half is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to accommodate field users in an ever-changing, active environment. The ideal candidate for this Help Desk Analyst position has strong problem-solving skills and a passion for making effective change within an organization. This Help Desk Analyst role is based in the Santa Barbara, California area and is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity.
Your responsibilities
- Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions to address the root of the problems
- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
- Resolve technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
- Deliver IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally
Requirements
- Experience with Desktop Hardware
- VMware experience desired
- Adeptness in Desktop Imaging
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
- General familiarity with Desktop Imaging
- Demonstrated knowledge of Desktop Operating System
- Practical knowledge of Desktop Hardware
- Desktop Support experience highly preferred
- Expertise in MS Windows 10
- Apple iOS experience
- Background in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
- 1+ years of prior experience
- Working knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
- Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
- Comprehension of basic networking concepts
- Experience with IT support ticketing systems
