Station Training Coordinator/Local Ramp InstructorThe Station Training Coordinator is the Local Ramp Instructor (LRI) of the station. The LRI is a local instructor who will train BTW baseline training at their current station. The Local Ramp Instructor will attend LRI training with a UGE Corporate Instructor and if certified, will be responsible for completing the full complement of OJT training for agents enrolled in Below-the-Wing Baseline. These 40 hours will be functionally identical to the second week of BTW Baseline.The LRI will design an OJT plan after a new agent’s completion of classroom training, and work with the agent to train them on clean and search, aircraft general familiarization, wing walking, pushback, lavatory service, water service, and all other ramp sign-offs applicable to the station’s services and fleet types.This role will also be accountable for the documentation and record-keeping of all station training conducted, and uphold all training best practices, policies, and procedures. This individual may also be required to maintain other Qualified Instructor certifications such as Interior Search, Lavatory/Water, and Deicing.LRI's will be asked to actively participate in a larger communication framework to ensure training standards are being upheld at a station level and may be audited by a member of the Corporate Instruction team. Additionally, they will be responsible for escalating safety and security concerns about new hire behavior to their station manager.This job description is an addendum to the Customer Service/Ramp Service Agent/Lead position and incorporate all scope and requirements in addition to those outlined here.You’ll be provided the tools you need on the Runway to Success!Flexibility
Since this is a union job based on seniority, you will be assigned your initial schedule to meet our needs at the airport
You must be available for day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays
You will be required to work mandatory overtime, when necessary

High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 18 years old
Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Ability to operate a computer to enter and retrieve data
Ability to lift up to 70lbs on a consistent basis
Must be willing and able to perform a variety of physical activities including, bending, stooping, climbing, working in tight spaces, and working outside in all weather conditions
Ability to pass all pre-screening clearances (including a background check, hearing and vision tests, and drug screen)
Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal) per local requirements
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays; mandatory overtime may be required based on operational need
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
Ground Security Coordinator certified (GSC) required
