Part time FEMALE support staff position for a 45 year old female who is self sufficient, articulate and has Down syndrome.
Responsibilities:
Be a friend who goes out to movies, festivals, out to eat social events, etc. in the community or hang out at home playing games, doing crafts, watching movies, helping run errands, etc.
Responsible for the well-being and safety of client.
Be able to articulate why things may or may not be appropriate.
Must have a car, insurance, good driving record and be dependable.
Some overnight stays
Experience working with adults with disabilities is a plus
