Bar Lou is a new restaurant opening in Montecito by the team behind Little Dom's in Los Angeles & Little Dom's Seafood in Carpinteria. Known for building iconic neighborhood restaurants that are both cozy, friendly but culinary driven. This concept is focused on French Riviera style cuisine with fresh California ingredients.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager & General Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food production and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the restaurant industry, with a focus on wine & spirit knowledge.

Duties

Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant, including supervising and assisting with service, wine

procurement, and staff management.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the

establishment.

Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service, fostering a positive work environment.

Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to ensure efficient food

production.

Utilize Toast POS systems for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.

Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency and

profitability.

Train new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and best practices in hospitality management.

Experience

Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management is preferred.

Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.

Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement. Ready to master

every position in the restaurant before trying to teach someone else

Strong coach and leader – gives effective feedback, grows the team every day

Organized & deadline-oriented and focused on driving results

Cares about people & builds relationships with guests and team members

Humble & eager to learn from a dynamic, growing restaurant group

Knowledge of coffee preparation and bar operations is beneficial but not mandatory
