We are Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara (VROSB), one of the longest established vacation rental companies in Santa Barbara! We are locally owned and operated, and manage about 75 fully-furnished rental properties in the Santa Barbara area. We strongly value our relationships with our owners, guests, and within our team.
For this position, we are looking for a Property Care Inspector who is masterful at noticing and responding to small details, staying organized and professional, all while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- On-site property inspections before and after each guest stay
- Restocking supplies at the property and purchasing items as needed
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs needed for the property
- Changing lock boxes and door codes
- Managing property emergency call line (open 24hrs) approx. 1 weekend every 5-6/weeks
- Occasionally meeting with prospective guests to show properties
Required skills for this position:
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Great interpersonal communication
- Team-player attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Self-starter and comfortable working autonomously
- Handyperson skill a bonus but not required
Hours:
- Approx. 20 hours per week
- Daily field schedule varies, but availability every Tuesday and Thursday from 9-9:45am is required for team meetings
No prior property management experience is needed, but preferred. Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation! Please note this is a variable PART-TIME position.
