BrightStar Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to join our team in the Santa Barbara area. If you are passionate about providing high-quality care and making a difference in the lives of your patients, we want to hear from you!
We have several patients that require daily visits throughout the week with varying shift lengths.
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient health and report any changes to the supervising RN
Educate patients and their families on health care needs and safety
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Perform other duties which fall within the scope of practice for an LVN
Candidate Must Have:
Active California LVN license
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Physical examination clearance within the past 6mos.
Adherence to HIPAA and ability to maintain client confidentiality
