We create beautiful shade structures with giant bamboo and colorful canopies for the events industry and have been a successful project since 2016.
Branches Mobile Gallery is hiring temporary employees and independent contractors when applicable.
THE ROLE:
This role is for a crew member on our bamboo build team. We build shade structures, stages, entry portals, and other unique bamboo and fabric installations. The role will require you to be physically able, to take direction, and work collaboratively as a part of a team. An eye for aesthetic and artistic beauty is valuable as sometimes we are adding decor to stages that are focal points of the events that we serve.
Characteristics of the work:
- Our work is physically demanding. Must be able to lift and move 50lbs comfortably
- Requires focus throughout to maintain the best and safest work environment.
- You may be asked to perform tasks that require a bit of creativity from you.
- Must be comfortable working on ladders up to 12' tall
- All tools to complete the work will be supplied
- Work appropriate clothing, including close toed shoes are a must.
- Most work takes place between Thursday's and Sunday's
COMPENSATION:
Build Associates compensation begins at $22/hr. If the work requires you to drive you will receive minimum wage during your drive time. We have the ability to transport most of our team to and from our starting location in Goleta, CA.
