Ho'okipa Design and Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Framer and Finish Carpenter to join our team. We specialize in residential and various other construction projects, and we are looking for a professional who excels in both framing and finish carpentry.
POSITION: Framer and Finish Carpenter
LOCATION: Santa Barbara, CA
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years in both framing and finish carpentry.
- Skills: Proficient in using all relevant tools and equipment.
- Physical Ability: Must possess physical strength and endurance, and be adept at working with your hands.
- Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Framing:
Construct structural frameworks, including walls, roofs, and floors with precision.
Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other temporary structures safely.
- Finish Carpentry:
Install trim, molding, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry elements.
Apply finishing touches to woodwork, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
- General Duties:
Unload and transport materials at construction sites.
Demolish structures as needed.
Assist tradespeople and machine operators in construction projects.
Prepare and apply construction materials to build or repair structures.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris and discarded materials.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Licenses and Insurance: Valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance, and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Tools: Must have personal tools and be able to lift 50 pounds safely.
- Background Check: Employment is contingent upon satisfactory background and reference checks.
