We are a 100 plus acre start-up farm and will hire a motivated person to work 28 to 40 hours per week. Normally no weekends. The jobsite is located halfway between Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez. Possible living on site.
Duties include: Helping the owner install irrigation lines, general farm maintenance, and construction of a residence. Physical outdoor work and some lifting of up to 60 pounds is required. This is a ground level opportunity for a motivated person to learn irrigation, surveying, and construction skills working alongside the General Contractor/ Developer. Construction skills and experience using farm equipment and tools considered a plus.
Other requirements include:
Valid California drivers license
Ability to speak and understand English
Ability to understand detailed verbal instructions
Must be able to legally work in the US

Starting pay is $20.00 per hr. Pay may be higher DOE.
