Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and service, similar to a 5-star hotel. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and ensure the estate is always in pristine condition.
Requirements:
Experience working in high-end homes
Comfortable using technology
Fluent in English and able to follow detailed instructions
Physically capable of moving up and down stairs and running errands
Excellent communication skills and flexibility
Must be comfortable working in a team setting, under the supervision & guidance of ranch manager, and an executive lead housekeeper.
Responsibilities
Shopping
Grocery shopping twice a week (Monday & Friday) – maintain a standard grocery list with input from the owner
Purchase household and cleaning supplies as needed (in-store or online)
Mail & Deliveries
Check the mailbox daily and monitor package deliveries
Answer the door for deliveries or vendors
Laundry
Daily: Wash, dry, fold, and hang the owner's personal laundry (iron as needed)
Daily: Line-dry t-shirts and iron them
Daily: Wash and dry bathroom towels
As Needed: Change and remake beds; owner's sheets changed Monday & Friday
Ability to press sheets in-house and manage dry-cleaning check-in/out
General Housekeeping
Daily: Clean bathrooms, including the gardener’s bathroom once per week
Daily: Empty trash & recycling, break down boxes
Weekly (or as needed): Wash floors
Daily: Keep all drawers organized (clothes, kitchen, bathroom, etc.)
Daily: Clean the kitchen and wash all dishes (hand-wash wine glasses & gold-rim China)
As Needed: Polish silverware
Ongoing: Keep refrigerators and pantries clean and organized (date-label fruit)
1-2x/month: Sweep/mop the garage floor
When owners are traveling: Perform deep cleaning, special organization projects, and clean lesser-used spaces (basement, storage, garage)
Vendor Supervision
Always supervise vendors inside the home—never leave them unattended
Work with the Estate Manager to schedule vendors as needed
Answer the door for all scheduled vendors and deliveries
Let the florist in on Monday and Friday mornings
Regularly check and report burned-out lightbulbs
Keep the Estate Manager informed of any concerns
Organization & Special Projects
Assist with maintenance schedules, shopping lists, and household inventories
Work on special projects as directed by the employer
