A thriving solo family law practice in Santa Barbara is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented legal secretary to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Supporting clients through the intake and case preparation process
Drafting family law documents, including disclosures, discovery responses, and correspondence
Assisting with preparation for hearings, mediations, and meetings
Filing documents with the court and managing case deadlines
Overseeing day-to-day office operations with professionalism and care
Qualifications:
Prior experience in family law is highly preferred
Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage sensitive client matters with discretion and empathy
Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
This position is primarily in-person and full-time, but part-time may be considered for the right candidate. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, and PTO.
