We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant in Santa Barbara. This position is Full Time (40 hrs/week – 8 hrs/day) and temporary (expected to last through 05/01/2021). The pay rate is $17.42/hr. If you are qualified and interested, submit a resume asap!
If chosen for the position - you will be required to complete a TB test, 10 panel drug screen, background check, flu shot, and have up to date vaccinations
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Compose correspondence without draft contents
Coordinate travel arrangements and other duties or projects as needed
Enter data into a database, provide summary reports, and add fields as necessary
Schedule meetings and appointments
Transcribe minutes of meetings
Answer, screen, and initiate phone calls rerouting inquiries for department
Coordinate gathering of input, documents, etc. from single sources for reports and presentations
Serve as liaison for the department/work unit
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be able to type 45 wpm
Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint is desirable
1+ years of experience required
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work both independently, with little to no instruction, as well as on a team
High School Diploma or equivalent
Associates degree is desirable
