Community Financial Fund Advisor

Summary of Job Details
Establishes and implements procedures for the Community Financial Fund. Provides training in financial literacy, coordinates grants and oversees loans, serves as liaison with the Financial Aid office and advises students on the Community Financial Fund Committee. Provides guidance and counsel to Business and Finance Committee members in their responsibility to properly advise A.S. organizations and student groups. Assists Business and Finance Committee chair in training students to present workshops regarding the expenditure of funds, financial policies and administrative procedures. Conducts workshops for A.S. staff, A.S. Boards and Committees and student organizations as needed to include information on all A.S. Financial Policies and University Policies and Procedures. Basic Needs Resource: Connects students with the appropriate basic needs resources on- and off campus, serving as the liaison to AS and community resources.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Special Conditions of Employment
Satisfactory completion of a criminal history background check
Must be able to work occasional evenings.
Days/Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm
