Downtown company seeking a temporary part-time to full-time receptionist with possibility of temp-to-hire.

Business casual. Salary DOE. 20 hours minimum during normal office hours with possibility of full-time for the right candidate.

Duties include:

Ability to use MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel with confidence.

Familiarity with office equipment such as scanners, fax machines, postage machines and printers.

Handling private information with absolute confidentiality

Preparing correspondence and documents as requested

Faxing, scanning, copying, printing and performing other clerical duties as necessary

Answering, screening and forwarding incoming calls

Maintaining client databases

Notifying appropriate office personnel of document intake, recording and routing of same

Other duties as assigned

Required skills: ability to follow detailed instructions; proficiency with computers; typing and answering phones (Prior office and/ or administrative experience helpful but not required. Computer and office equipment skills will be tested at the interview.)

Candidates should: be able to handle the stress of a fast-paced job; be willing and able to find things to do when things are slow; learn quickly; work independently and as a team member; be organized and detail-oriented; have good communication skills; and be capable of multi-tasking in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy.
