New Frontiers Natural Marketplace is hiring a Receiver. The position is full time, 40 hrs per week, 7am - 3pm Monday through Friday.
Summary: Responsible to ensure all Receiving Dock activities are complete including
receiving, storing, inventorying, shipping, cleaning, and organizing deliveries, materials,
supplies, parts, tools, and equipment received at New Frontiers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to, the following (other duties may be assigned):
Ensure all items are received, distributed and/or stored in an appropriate and
timely manner considering turnover, size, weight, adequacy of storage levels
and related factors of items stored
Review invoices and records for accuracy of information and compliance with
established procedures, adjust errors and keep accurate records
Assist, if needed, with recording and recommend remedial actions for reported
non-usable, damaged, mis-shipped items
Assist in special and periodic inventories including the determination of reasons
for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend
remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
Take on various odd jobs as needed
Ensure New Frontiers facility common areas such as the warehouse, loading
dock, parking lot, mezzanine, storage areas, etc. are kept clean and organized at
all times
Safely use forklift, pallet jack, cardboard baler, ladders, power tools, and other
related equipment
Attend store and department meetings as needed
