The Riviera Towel Company is looking for an e-commerce/retail sales associate in their flagship store located in downtown Santa Barbara next door to D'Angelo Bakery and Backyard Bowls in the Sevilla Square, a collection of local store and restaurants bordering the Funk Zone.
Retail/E-Commerce Associate Responsibilities:
-Posting on social media
- Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service
- Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers
- Directing customers to merchandise within the store
- Product knowledge (we will provide in-store training)
- Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor
- Helping with daily online orders
- Shipping with UPS/USPS/Fed-Ex websites
- Updating website inventory
Position Requirements:
- Computer skills mandatory (we are Mac-based and use computers and iPads)
- Social media fluency
- Internet savvy
- Retail sales experience a plus, but not required
- A professional appearance
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction
