TAG is looking for a Commercial Service Technician to join our growing team at A&J Refrigeration in San Luis Obispo / Santa Barbara, California.Responsibilities and Skills:Use blueprints or design specifications to install or repair HVACR systemsPerform preventative maintenance checks on all major mechanical equipment; diagnoses equipment malfunctions and operating efficiency of mechanical equipmentInstall and replace all types of pumps or refrigeration equipment, pneumatic valves, electric valves, heat transfer equipment, ventilation, and air distribution equipment according to prints, specifications, diagrams, or other instructionsCalibrate thermostats and ensure appropriate temperatures are maintainedRepair and rebuild complex commercial refrigeration and environmental systems, touring and inspecting regularlyKeep all mechanical rooms clean, orderly, and organizedTest pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks using electronic meters, pressure gauges or soap-and-water solutionOrder and secures materials for jobs as neededTest electrical circuits or components to determine necessary repairsConnect systems to refrigerants line sets, air ducts, and other componentsInspect and maintain customers’ refrigeration and EMS systemsRepair or replace worn or defective partsComply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as safety procedures or the maintenance of a clean work areaDocument all performed work in app-based dispatch program with detailed legible notes to customer’s satisfactionComply with local monitoring agencies by carefully completing required reporting paperwork for refrigerant use, leak checks, and ALD SystemsTravel to worksitesEducation/Certifications/Qualifications:Experience with supermarket refrigeration systems ideal, but not required3+ years of solid work experience in a technical areaValid driver’s license with clean driving record, as well as ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug testWillingness to travel throughout CA, as neededMust be able to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holiday during scheduled on call periodsHigh School Diploma/ GED EquivalentEPA CertifiedPlease apply online with A&J Refrigeration at: https://a-j-refrigeration.primepay-recruit.com/job/779251/service-technician-journeyman?s=cl
