While details may evolve, our goal is to create an environment where innovation thrives, with office-based teams coming together three days a week to collaborate and thrive, together!Your Career Palo Alto Networks is looking for an experienced finance leader to join our FP&A team as the Sr. Finance Director, Ecosystems reporting to the SVP of Finance. This high visibility role will lead all aspects of the Ecosystem Finance activities and partner with the SVP of Ecosystems to drive changes across our global ecosystem program governance and provide financial insights for our various Routes-to-Market to enable decision making and help drive the overall topline growth for the company.Your Impact:

Provide financial guidance and strategic partnership to the SVP of Ecosystems and the broader ecosystem organization

Build cross-functional partnerships and lead through influence to help solve complex interdisciplinary problems on behalf of the business. Navigate across matrixed org structure and engage with senior executives across the Finance including both Theater and Product teams

Develop RTM (route-to-market) metrics and publish financial packages for enhanced business performance visibility on a monthly and quarterly basis

Ensure prudence and financial rigor / ROI analysis on program funds management, channel and partner incentives and rebates, contractual arrangements with partners, and in opex and headcount management

Coordinate and support Quarterly Business Reviews, focusing on data and insights that will help advance our channel, global system integrator, cloud service provider, and managed service provider routes-to-markets and partnership impacts.

Support and advise the business for partner agreement negotiations, provide necessary financial reviews

Financial business support including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling and analysis, and annual planning for Ecosystems

Lead strategic projects, including projects that require E2E operationalization of partner incentives and rebates programs; develop and stand up contra-revenue forecasting process in conjunction with cross-functional back-office teams

Support senior leadership on ad hoc projects and requests

Your Experience:

Bachelors in an analytical field (e.g. Business, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field); advanced degree/MBA preferred

1520 years in mid-to-senior level finance roles, preferably in Sales Finance, FP&A, or Channels

A high degree of intelligence, natural curiosity, and a strong work ethic

Healthy impatience for change. Willingness to ask the tough questions and ensure partner agreement on complex decision points.

Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, maturity under pressure & anticipates and resolves problems proactively.

Resolve complex business issues, ability to move beyond reporting to synthesis and insight

Excellent analytical and financial skills, with even stronger people skills (EQ)

Deadline-driven, organized, and able to multitask and manage competing priorities with the willingness to adapt to the rapid business and organizational demands that result from a high-growth environment

Effective presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in a distilled manner with strong focus on using analytics to communicate and highlight business insights

Ability to drive, motivate, and lead teams and cross-functional stakeholders to execution

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $210,800/yr to $341,000/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
