Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.The Campus Director will work with the Robotics and Digital Leadership to drive effective Campus governance and community, bringing the platform and functional teams together to leverage ideas, resources, and talent. Equally important, the Director will build connections with the Bay Area community and other JJMT sites, while positioning the campus as a center of innovation and source of top talent, advanced technology, and collaboration. We are passionate about building upon our J&J culture and are recruiting for the critical role of Campus Director to support the execution of our STC strategy whilst embedding a campus culture of innovation focused on collaboration, integrity, and creativity.Key Responsibilities:

As an inclusive leader, build strong internal connections and a welcoming community that employees are motivated to engage in scientifically and culturally:

Stand up and serve as Decision Support Leader for the Cross-Business Governance Council that includes STC Site Head and Leaders (e.g. President, OTTAVA, Global Head of Robotics Manufacturing, Global Head of Robotics R&D, President, Monarch, etc.) to formulate and execute current and long-range strategies and provide oversight of the Campus community;

Launch & lead the Community Council of key business partners (e.g. Engineers, EH&S, HR, Legal, Finance, Communications, IT, Facilities Management) to provide harmonization across the Campus, offering subject-matter expertise to regional and functional partners, enabling effective management of the site, including compliance with safety guidelines and Company policies, and continuous improvement. Community Council members will also be invited to the Cross-Business Governance Council on an agenda-driven basis

Collaborate with the Communications and Public Affairs Lead on the Campus communication strategy to keep the workforce informed, connected, and engaged;

Lead the expansion of the STC site into second building on the campus, partnering with key business partners and offering subject-matter expertise to leaders to execute on our current plans

Lead the consolidation of teams to STC as a main JJMT campus, partnering with key business partners to do so

Partner with the DE&I Team to deliver its plan and embed a Campus culture of innovation grounded in our CREDO values:

Serve as primary point of contact for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Campus committees, providing leadership team with key insights from the various teams, which will help inform strategies to achieve key attributes of campus culture and vision;

Partner with Strategy and Business Operations (SBO) to generate reports and metrics to measure Campus performance;

Support special projects as needed.

Promote strategic outreach with Corporate Offices of academic institutions;

Expose our workforce to local scientific community and innovative scientific efforts.

QualificationsEducation:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in scientific or business-related field is required. Master’s Degree, M.B.A, and/or Ph.D. preferred.

Required Skills and Experience:

A minimum of 12 years of progressive business experience, including external engagement within a engineering /business/medical field.

The candidate must demonstrate strong influencing skills, excellent communication, project management, organizational change, and have a thorough understanding of company business strategies while working in a matrixed environment.

Must be agile decision-maker, demonstrate resourcefulness and independence while navigating complexity throughout the organization.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Microsoft SharePoint

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Proven track record of developing and/or implementing a cultural strategy

Experience organizing and leading executive engagements and large corporate events

Other:

This role will be based out of Santa Clara, CA. and may require up to 10% travel (domestic and international)

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $163,000 to $281,750
