The Senior Banking Services Representative assists the Branch Manager, Banking Services Manager and Banking Services Officer in developing, implementing and overseeing the sales efforts for the Branch, as well as meet personal sales and referral goals. Provides a wide range of lending, deposit, and financial counseling services to new and existing customers by needs identification and determining which financial service can best satisfy those needs.
Consistently represents the Bank to customers in a courteous and professional manner, and provides prompt, effective, and accurate service. Ensures sales staff provides efficient and accurate services to customers in a courteous and professional manner
Regularly calls on existing customers, outside prospects, and community organizations to develop and maintain business relationships
Participates in the development of sales goals, campaigns and strategies to retain existing customers and attract new prospects
Responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance with new accounts transactions
Comply with Bank policies, procedures, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering, and regulatory compliance programs
Resolves non-routine customer issues with/for employees when necessary; acts as a resource and coach to nonexempt staff
Fosters a sales-oriented environment by providing on-going performance feedback and training for employees; generating enthusiasm; and participation in all sales campaigns
Ensures staff is trained to identify sales opportunities, as well as how to make effective referrals for all Bank products and services
Participate and perform operational oversight to ensure the branch is complaint from a regulatory standpoint
Independently run branch in absence of management
Represents the Bank at community events to further enhance the Bank's image and develop new business opportunities
May work on weekends as needed. Positions assigned to an In-Store location may work weekends and holidays, as needed
May be directed to work at different locations, outside of assigned office, within a reasonable geographical area, at the discretion of regional management
Performs all other job duties as assigned by supervisor
