Rosa's Italian Restaurant is looking for a friendly and energetic individual to join our team!
Job duties include:
Supervise and manage all front of house staff to ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction by performing the following duties:
-Greet and welcome guests as they arrive
-Manage reservations and seating arrangements, ensure guests are seated in a timely manner
-Be able to help and perform any and all FOH staff member’s duties when needed
-Handle customer complaints, intoxicated guests, and resolve issues in a professional manner; call emergency services when needed
-Perform various supervisory duties including opening/closing the restaurant, handling large party inquiries, fixing credit card and guest check issues, and various cash transactions; guest checks, tips, paid outs, counting drawer, etc…
-Manage the training of all FOH employees on procedures and company policies
-Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of food
-Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant
Job Requirements:
-Friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail
-Previous experience in a similar role, preferably a manager or supervisor in a restaurant setting
-Strong leadership and team management skills
-Knowledge of point-of-sale software
-Current California Food Handlers Card and ABC Alcohol Server Certification
-Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays
Schedule and Compensation:
-Work days are Monday through Friday 3:00pm to close
-Pay is $22 to $26 per hour based on experience
-Health insurance is included
