We're currently hiring a team of Licensed Vocational Nurses for a private duty case in Santa Maria, California. This case requires 8 hours of nursing care 7 days a week. Successful candidates must be comfortable working with pediatric patients.

Successful candidates will be required to attend orientation and required trainings at our Santa Barbara office
Nurse Benefits:
$40-$42hr depends on experience

Nurse Job Responsibilities:
Perform care as defined by the client’s Plan of Care and within the scope of the state’s nurse practice act
Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill
Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs
Nurse Requirements:
Current unrestricted / unencumbered license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California
Graduate from a National League of Nursing accredited program preferred
Minimum (1) year of documented clinical experience
Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
Certified Infant CPR or PALS and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Licensed driver with reliable and insured automobile (proof of insurance required)
Adhere to HIPAA and ensure confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information
Experienced with feeding tubes, ventilators, family education, medication administration
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience in pediatrics and g-tube feedings a plus.
