THIS JOB IS STILL AVAILABLE AS OF 8/14/2025. This is a permanent job. We need an IHSS caregiver to work in the afternoons/evenings every weekday taking care of our 12 year old autistic child. The duties are mostly sitting in the living room making sure he is safe, guiding him through chores, making sure he is medicated and fed when needed, and every evening he needs to be verbally guided through a shower and then verbally guided through getting to bed. This job is not hard, but it requires patience.
The hours are starting Thursday as our child returns to school and the schedule will be 3:15pm - 9:00pm (M, Tu, W, F) and 2:15pm - 9:00pm Thursdays.

You must be on time to get the child from the school bus after school, please only reply if you have reliable transportation and can promise to be regularly on time. If you can start right away that's great, but if you can't still reply if you are interested.
