Manufacturing Technician Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for all aspects of the production process including: subassembly, fabrication, electrical, plumbing, quality control, safety, and housekeeping. He/she will also be responsible for learning and conforming to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic to advanced mechanical skills and experience with hand and power tools
- Troubleshooting ability
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Safety certifications
- Forklift experience
- Reliable means of transportation to work
- Valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work in awkward positions for extended periods of time
- Ability to constantly use hand and power tools
- Ability to ascend and descend a ladder
This is a full-time, temporary position for 60-90 days, with the potential to continue beyond that, but not guaranteed. Pay range is $15-$20/hour, DOE.
