Fast paced contract manufacturer is looking for an experienced individual to join our team. We manufacture high precision components and assemblies for a wide variety of markets, including industrial instrumentation, aerospace and medical. If you are motivated and like to make a wide variety of challenging parts, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities include:
Set-up production parts based on instructions from set-up folders and qualify 1st article inspections
Monitor production runs for tool wear and identify / correct finish and dimensional problems and variances
Proficient use of all hand tools required to set-up and break-down machine tool fixtures
Accurate record keeping of in-process count and other production related documents
Complete assigned jobs based on a schedule with short lead-times
Work independently to problem solve in an efficient manner
Follow production process to meet ISO 9001:2015 certified shop environment
Communicate well and work well with others to produce the best products possible.
Preferred Experience Includes:
Familiarity with Fanuc, HAAS, controls
Fourth and fifth axis machining experience is a plus
Familiarity with Mastercam and or other CAD/CAM programs ideal
Ability to interpret prints and tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience working with exotic materials with tolerances of +/-.0005
