AWS DevOps Engineer

Description We are seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team in Santa Monica, California. As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, providing guidance to our development team, ensuring application performance, and leading the design and implementation of apps utilizing cloud services.Responsibilities: Identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company. Document and define best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Mentor and provide guidance to the development team to build cloud competencies. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design. Lead the design and implementation of apps utilizing cloud services. Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including planning, requirements, development, and testing. Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventative measures. Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training. Employ exceptional problem-solving skills to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.For immediate consideration, apply now and direct message Reid Gormly on LinkedinRequirements Top Requirements Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as an AWS DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Proficient in Amazon EC2 and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Strong knowledge of Ansible for configuration management. Experience in automation techniques and tools. Expertise in AWS Technologies. Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and DevOps practices. Proficient in .NET and ASP.NET. Strong understanding of SQL Database management. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
