Description There is an urgent need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to administer month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Fashion cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Manage sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Keep Accounts Payable up to date
Conduct monthly accounting close
Produce cash flow projections, as needed
Additional special projects if necessary
Business license and gross receipts coverage
List budget transfers
Put subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirements together
Direct Accounts Receivable
Capable in credit card management and reconciliation Requirements
Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred, but not required
Good understanding of in-house payroll
Experience with billing
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Financial statement preparation experience required
General familiarity with QuickBooks
Adeptness in Sales Tax
Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Hands-on experience with reconciliations
Background working with Full Cycle Payroll
Practical knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Comprehension of Process Payroll
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required
Earlier work involving garnishments payroll
Process Biweekly Payroll experience highly valued
Experience with Reconcile Payroll
Demonstrated knowledge of Sales Tax Returns
Previous experience working with Process Bi-weekly Payroll
Prior experience with account reconciliation
Billing experience preferred
Financial Statement experience desired
Journal Entry experience preferred
QuickBooks Pro experience highly preferred
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Notable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
3+ years of related experience- Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
