Patient Care Coordinator

Description We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for our office located in Santa Rosa, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating patient care services in the healthcare industry. This is a short term contract employment opportunity in which you will utilize your skills in Allscripts, Banner Ads, Cerner Technologies, CRM, Dentrix Dental Software, and more to meet the needs of our patients. Responsibilities: Provide efficient and accurate processing of patient care coordination, including answering inbound calls. Use Allscripts, Banner Ads, Cerner Technologies, CRM, Dentrix Dental Software for patient management. Handle authorizations related to patient care and services. Perform benefit functions to ensure patients receive appropriate medical coverage. Manage billing functions to ensure accurate invoicing and payment for services. Maintain and update charts and graphs to monitor patient progress and care. Resolve patient inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner. Monitor patient accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Ensure accurate and updated customer credit records. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing their needs and concerns promptly Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role Proficient with Allscripts and Cerner Technologies Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software Experience with Dentrix Dental Software is preferred Capability to handle and efficiently answer inbound calls Knowledge of authorization procedures in a healthcare setting Understanding of benefit functions and billing functions Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task High level of commitment to exceptional customer service Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
